2. Discover the Valmeinier Throwdown – CrossFit at 1800m!
From July 10th to 13th, 2025, Valmeinier hosts the largest Functional Fitness competition in the Alps… and the highest in Europe! Over 900 athletes will push their limits in a spectacular mountain setting.
For this 5th edition, 240 mixed teams will compete in intense WODs, from Elite to Scaled categories, in an electric atmosphere.

August 2nd & 3rd, 2025, Valmeinier will host an exciting stage of the French Enduro MTB / E-MTB Cup. After a 10-year absence, the circuit returns to the legendary Maurienne Valley — known for hosting one of the most iconic stages in the history of the sport.
In this spectacular setting, the top riders will face off on the technical trails and steep slopes of Valmeinier. Whether you’re an adrenaline seeker or a casual spectator, come and feel the excitement of Enduro and enjoy a summer holiday filled with sport and emotions in the heart of the Alps!
